EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and many other mental health problems.
EMDR Therapy was developed in the late eighties in the United States. It was first used to treat combat veterans with PTSD, but has quickly come to be useful in addressing symptoms associated with trauma and stress such as flashbacks, panic attacks, anxiety and phobias, worrying, over-reactive anger and depression.
