Michelle Schrubbe, PhD, LPC, CSAC, DBTC
Michelle is a licensed professional counselor and clinical substance abuse therapist with a PhD in psychology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her master’s degree in mental health counseling. Michelle works with children ages 5 and older, adolescents, adults and couples.
In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Michelle is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Michelle utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and DBT approaches in both individual and group therapy. Michelle approaches counseling with genuine compassion, kindness, and respect, working collaboratively with clients while empowering them to reduce conflicts, build on personal strengths and improve coping strategies.
