Lynn Martin, MA, LPC
Lynn is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has dedicated her work to children and teens as well as adults of all ages. She also has a special interest in working with women at all stages of life and helping support parents in their vital role of raising children. In addition to her professional training, Lynn is the mother of 3 grown children. Raising her children has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and experience that extends beyond her professional training.
Lynn provides therapeutic services in a nurturing, supportive fashion. She is trained to utilize play therapy, sand tray therapy, art-based interventions, CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness/relaxation training. She has training in Emotional Freedom Technique and Tapping- an evidenced based, mind body treatment approach to Anxiety Spectrum Disorders. Additionally, Lynn has completed training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Intensive Training (ASDCS).
Lynn is not opposed to the use of medication for treating mental illness; her approach is often integrative in nature. She has completed her training to be a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider.

In her spare time, Lynn enjoys many different activities -particularly anything that takes her outdoors – including spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, photographing people, wildlife and landscapes, painting and other art projects, camping, hiking, swimming, snow shoeing, and cross- country skiing.
